Hello members and followers

It has been pretty slow on our end, but we have some projects that need to get taken care of before snow flies.

The one you see is the stone that we placed at Bamboo Bend. It is for the remembrance of the flood which took place this past spring. We will have the bronze sign placed in a week or so. We will also be having an asphalt walking trail up to the sign. Such a rewarding project. Pictured are Muddy American Concrete employees, Shadows board member and Wolf River Asphalt employee.

Thanks for all involved!!

Hello members and followers

We are working on our next project, it is the bronze sign at Bamboo Bend.
Muddy American Concrete dug the footings and you can see it is all formed up and ready for pouring. That will take place the first part of this week. The rock that this bronze sign will be attached to weighs 2.5 ton. It will definitely have to have a footing. Jason Knops gave us a hand running Brad’s mini hoe.

Any questions reach out to us. Thank You for your Support

Hello members and followers

As promised, a picture of one of the completed projects. A couple of the board members today went up and put up our new sign (pictured Jay Nelson and Bob Badtke and Kevin Conradt also present).
There are a couple people we would like to thank, Shiocton shop class for donating their time to make the signs, Seymour lumber for donating the the boards and Mike Genske from Scott Marcks Excavating for auguring the holes for us and helping to place it.

Thank you everybody for your support. Looks great!!!

We would like to update you on a few of the projects that we have coming up soon.

First one - Replacing 2 handicap fishing piers up at Koepke’s boat landing north of Shiocton.

Second - Students from Shiocton High School shop class made the new Wisconsin Wildlife Area sign. We will be placing on Highway 187.

Third - The board did approve to get a bronze sign made for the major flood that we had this past spring. It will be on a rock and placed at Bamboo Bend. Be sure to stop and take a look once we get it placed. Good reminder on the history that was made!!

As these projects commence, we will certainly be taking pictures and keep you all informed.

If anybody has any questions, please contact any board members.

Thank you for your support!!

Hello members and followers

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the tragic tornado this last week. We wanted to do our part, so we took $1500 of the member’s money and spent it on gift cards from Menards, Kwik trip, Walmart. Winnebago County will disperse the gift cards out the way they see fit.

What a terrible thing that these people have to go through.
