Little Musicians

Little Musicians, Early Childhood Music Classes, are back this summer at St. Mary's Catholic School in Sherman! These are music classes for ages Birth to 4-years-old, with a parent or caregiver. The greatest window of opportunity for learning music is actually Birth to age 9, and music learning is so parallel to language learning in children. Let them come play with music, as they begin learning to find the resting tone, match pitch, keep a steady beat, begin improvisational skills, and more! The classes are Fridays in June, starting June 2nd, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Cost is $65 for 5 Fridays. "Let's sing hello" to early childhood music!

Summer Enrichment Course Description Grade levels are based on the grade a student will enter this coming August. All instructors have been approved through our Safe Environment program through the Diocese of Dallas.

Stop by for a great meal at MG's today in Sherman at 1721 N. Woods St., and help out the Children's Chorus! Just mention our name at the register, and a percentage of each meal will go towards our choir. This is a tremendous help! Tomorrow morning is our last class for the summer! All of our summer Little Musicians have learned about resting tone, movement, beat, rhythm, and so much more! These wonderful children will be missed! 🎵

Little Musicians is offering two summer classes starting in June. We will have a new location because we will be a part of the Summer Enrichment Program at St. Mary's School.
