Summer 2026 is off to a WONDERFUL start!
Last summer this friend with ASD was highly anxious, hyper focused on how the water felt on his face, counting down his time at swim every minute and resisted coming through our gate to swim with our COTA. Yesterday was his first day back since last September. Mom shared with me how much introducing him to swim and equipping her with skills to work on at home has built his confidence. His last skill pass yesterday was practice the back float. Then a free pass none of us expected to see!!
