Did you know that Kirby also taught and worked with veterans to help overcome PTSD?

It was a veterans group established by Dr. Kim Perlak in conjunction with the Armstrong School Of Music when she taught at the University of Texas at Austin. The function of the group was to use music as a guiding force in the healing of veterans aspiring to rise above the debilitating nature of the effects of post traumatic injury.

His passion for music along with his patience and kind spirit was helpful to many. He continued this for several years and made an incredible bond with these vets.

Pricing & Scheduling Info:

Kirby offers 1 hour sessions each week.
Each lesson is $50.
Tuition is due in full, prior to the month beginning!

Cancellation policy:

If given 24 hour notice, lessons can be rescheduled and/or make up lessons added in as schedule allows.
If not given 24 hour notice, your lesson will be forfeited!

His credentials include, but aren’t limited to teaching for eight years with The National Guitar Workshop, at several satellite campuses across the U. S., including Austin, LA, San Francisco, Tampa, Nashville, and on the main campus in New Milford, Connecticut.
He also taught overseas in England and Germany.

He has performed clinics for and have been an endorsee for Ibanez, Takamine, Rowan, and Paul Reed Smith guitars, as well as for Laney, Sewell, and Paul Reed Smith amplification and D’Addario strings.

He has also preformed slide guitar clinics at the Dallas Guitar Show and the Anaheim and Nashville NAMM shows.

He has taught professionally in a private setting for years at home and continues to teach at home in Sherman, Tx.
