Every day another project nears completion. Our outbuildings are absolutely gorgeous! My husband , my children, and when I say children I mean ALL of them!!! My In Loves as well!!! Have all worked on the reconstruction of these buildings.

We still have more work to go but the results have been beautiful ❤️

Yesterday My youngest child bravely shared her testimony and her faith in Jesus. She intentionally walked into that lake and she was baptized!

Not because she had too. Salvation is already hers. Not because she was afraid not too. Fear is the wrong reason! Not because she was coerced.

But because for two years she has been asking and for two years she wanted to make sure that everyone knows…and quote…”I love Jesus, I just want everyone to know “

Josh Berry and I took a few days to get away! I took hardly any photos so I don’t have a lot to share.

Dear sweet momma…the one in the sleepless trenches….hang in there.. your time will come and you will be able to go away over night agian! Children grow up. And it happens quickly! Even the large family momma eventually has time again for something other than nursing and chasing toddlers.

I will always live deeply grateful for the season of a baby a year and so many littles.I lived a dream!

But now? I’m just as grateful for this time with my love.

I don’t post my children very often. I want to be careful of their autonomy. I want to protect their right to choose to be on my social media.

But this life that I am living. This homeschool mom, homesteading, herbal mom life….

It’s the most fulfilling role I have ever taken part in.

I prayed for these children and God answered my prayers.

I no longer have babies in the home. They are all young men and woman and I work along side them everyday and am living my dream!!!

These two youngest will say goodbye 11 and 12 times by time it’s time for them to leave the nest.

They must let go over and over. Their hearts break wide open every single time and they learn to rejoice with the older sibling that is finding their way.

Before we all know it, it will be them finding their way and all their siblings and Josh and I will be cheering them on through silent tears.

But not today. I still get to hold them close for awhile yet❤️

Update:

I over cooked the corn cobs and the liquid was dark brown and smelled burnt. So we threw it on the compost🤷‍♀️

Do you know what I am making????? I haven’t made it since 2008 when the bubble burst and the economy tried to swallow us whole? While feeding 7 young children and 1 one the way.

I’m making it again. Much older. Less afraid. Ready to be prepared.
