Art Conspiracy West Valley The mission of Art Conspiracy is to further the creation, understanding, and appreciation of the arts in the Western Yamhill Valley.

Art Conspiracy aims to encourage public participation in the arts and to promote educational and cultural programs in our various small, rural communities. We strive to support and encourage artist both young and old in the arts and crafts. Our main focus has been providing an intensive two week summer arts program rotating through our communities directly after school is out in June. We cooperate

with the local school district to use the school space where we offer some eighteen different classes each lasting 2 ½ hours daily for the duration of the two weeks. We hire professional artists and/or certified art teachers to instruct the classes of no more than ten students each. We additionally strive to have an art presence in our communities. We do this by working with existing groups to enhance the work they are doing. For example, we encourage and facilitate young artists who wish to participate in local art shows by holding matting workshops. We provide additional awards for young people participating in the Daffodil Festival and we assist students with entries in the Sheridan Days Art show. We cooperate with the Willamina Chamber Group by organizing and gathering student entries from across the county for the Coastal Hills Student Art Show.

Albert is a clown, actor, physical comedian, mime, fire eater, funny guy and Professional Fool who has toured with Ringling Bros, opened for Smothers Brothers, and performed in concert with the Oregon Symphony.

The Midday Masters program always takes place on the second Tuesday of the Art Conspiracy Summer Arts Program. Midday Masters was developed to give the students of the Summer Arts Program the opportunity to see artists who have mastered a medium which could not, for various reasons, be included in the program.

Just a friendly reminder…!

Start your summer break by unleashing your creativity, learning all kinds of new skills from experienced artists and performers, and meeting and making art with other students from all over the west valley area.

Sunday May 31st is the last day for regular pricing before the $35 late fee goes into effect June 1st.

Students can register up until the hour before the first class starts June 15th, but classes with space available will be very limited then, if they haven’t all filled.

YOU CAN GET ONE TOO!

This is a one-time deal. Preorders will open on the website soon (stay tuned!) and must be received BEFORE June 14. Once we send the final order in to the printshop – that’s it.

Only $18 if you pick up locally. Shipping fees would be additional.

This year we’re featuring a collage art cat by Ally – a 6-color screen print on high quality, soft style 100% cotton in a natural color. Kids and adult sizes available.
