"Jack Tennant's UW experience started when he came to the University as a student and football team member in 2006. He graduated in 2010 and has served as a professional staff member ever since. Operating in several roles through the Department of Athletics and the UW Foundation, Jack Tennant is honored to fulfill the role as the Executive Director at the Alumni Association. Jack is passionate about connecting our alumni back to the University through involvement, engagement, and celebration. Tennant is an astonishing example of what being a Cowboy means, and his love for the University of Wyoming is contagious."

Many of the key people in the event, including some local groups, were involved in a similar talk at Laramie County Community College in April.

“I feel like it’s really powerful to understand the differences in our community,” Andrew Corbine, an attendee of Thursday’s event, told the WTE. “Embracing diversity, embracing these differences between all of us in the community is super important. That’s the only way to promote progress.”

The goal of these seminars is to educate people in Wyoming about the rights of protected groups in the state, how people can report hate crimes and to start discussions about minority rights in the U.S.

In order to support the development of new cultural cooperation between France and other countries, support for the reception of foreign cultural professionals is one of the priorities of the European and international action of the Ministry of Culture. With this in mind, the ministry is launching the 2024 call for applications for the Culture Residency program. This call for applications is intended exclusively for foreign cultural professionals who wish to carry out a professional immersion in France in order to concretize their cultural project.

A scholarship of 1,500 euros per month is paid to candidates selected under the program upon their arrival in France.
