We're so excited to be a stop on the Jefferson County Farm Crawl. We'll also have some goat milking demos and our square dance at 2 will feature live music and a wonderful caller! Check out the post below to see the other local farm participating on October 10.

The Jefferson County Farm Crawl will be held Saturday, October 10! What is a Farm Crawl? It is a coordinated effort to drive more traffic to our local farms and agriculture-based businesses.

You won't want to miss stopping at Shepherd University Farm! Shepherd University's Agricultural Innovation Center is a 158 acre historic farm, home to Tabler Student Farm and the Agricultural Small Business Incubator. It also serves as a living classroom for the Environmental Studies Sustainable Agriculture bachelors program.

Join us on October 10 from 12-4pm for our annual Fall Fun Day! There will be hay rides, face painting, baby farm animals, chicken p**p BINGO, beginners yoga on the lawn, farm tours, pumpkin painting, flower picking.... and a square dance! Fun and educational activities for all ages!!

The Shepherd University Agricultural Innovation Center at Tabler Farm is excited to announce its 2nd Annual Farm-to-Table Dinner event! All fresh produce and herbs used in the meal will come from Tabler Farm, with beef from Red House Farm. All funds raised from this dinner will contribute to our vegetable production site, primarily providing paid job opportunities for students.

Reservations are open! This event has limited seating available.

Hot sauce makers!!! Our students will be bringing generous half pound bags of habaneros to the Shepherdstown Farmers Market for only $5 each... come get some to make your hot sauce and pepper ferments!

We will also have herbs, greens, okra, cherry tomatoes, lettuce and more!!!

We will be selling organically grown pumpkins and gourds at the Shepherdstown Farmer's Market this Sunday alongside other Shepherd Incubator Farmers.
