✨📖Shepherd Elementary Teacher Appreciation
Week was a wonderful chapter in our school year!

This chapter wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity of our amazing community sponsors. Because of your support, we were able to celebrate the educators who help our students discover new stories, turn the page on challenges, and create bright futures every day.

We are hosting a Staff Favorite, a St. Patrick's Day Rainbow Snack Bar, on Tuesday, March 17th! We would love your help to stock the snack bar for all Staff members. BlueJay PTO Teacher Appreciation Week, March 2nd-6th.

💙 Why We’re Celebrating Now:
Once upon a BlueJay school year… our PTO chose to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week next week instead of in May.

Wait… isn’t Teacher Appreciation Week usually in May?
Yes! But we think adding a little extra sunshine in cold February sounds just about perfect. And really, there’s no rule that says we have to wait until May to sprinkle extra appreciation and love on our amazing BlueJay teachers and staff.

May is one of the busiest times of the school year—packed with testing, field trips, events, and end-of-year excitement. By celebrating now, we’re giving our staff a chance to truly enjoy a relaxing, joy-filled week of treats, surprises, and thoughtful details—without the hustle and overwhelm.

Because our BlueJays soar higher thanks to the incredible teachers and staff who support them every single day. 💙
