Our very own Mr. Schreur, is participating in the Pies for a Purpose that the Sheldon Scoop is doing to raise money for the schools as a city activity. He needs to raise at least $100 to get a pie in the face, and for every $100 after that is a pie! If you would like to participate in this donation, you may bring money to the school - there is a bucket, or you can venmo directly to the Sheldon scoop. Also - if students want to be there Monday night to watch, they may also have a chance to throw the pies at Mr. Schreur! All the proceeds collected will be divided between the schools. Go see the messy fun on Monday night, September 28, downtown from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thank you!

Our 6th grade class led our chapel last week, and we welcomed Pastor Dave VanKley from Bethel Reformed Church as our guest speaker. He provided insight into the verse "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven" from Matthew 5. Thanks for joining us, Pastor Dave!

We encourage our families and friends to join us at our next chapel on Wednesday, October 21 at 8:20!

Sheldon Christian is blessed to have Mrs. Mulder in our Kindergarten room! She brings joy, fun, and a heart for Christ every day!

"I am so thankful to be a part of the SCS family! I am married to my husband, Parker, and together we have a sweet four-year-old son, Beckham. We are also excited to be expecting our second child in February! One of the things I love most about SCS is the closeness of the staff and the incredible support we receive from our parents. Most importantly, I am so thankful for the great privilege of being able to share the love of Jesus with my students each day. It is truly a blessing to be part of such a special school community!" - Kenzie Mulder
