It's that time again, the final stretch for submitting nominations for the newest Class of the Gallery of Success. All applications are kept on file for five years. Nominations can be made year round. The deadline to submit in order to be considered for the 2025 induction is March 31st. Forms can be hand delivered, mailed, or emailed. The induction ceremony will take place as part of the Senior Awards Night on May 14th. Applications can be downloaded from the district website

The 100th year celebration of our school district is coming to an end. The time capsule, crafted by the North Coast Community Woodshop, will be closed on December 28. The event will take place in the BHS gym in between the boys and girls basketball games. Come join us for a double header against Open Door and watch as the time capsule is closed by the craftsmen who built it.

Happy Homecoming Week! Posting to let alumni, friends, and community members know that the bonfire scheduled for Monday, October 14, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, October 16. It will take place following the Homecoming Parade and during the Cardinal Bowl. The weather in the area has been windy and wild all day. Safety first! Alumni interested in being in the parade can meet up at St Thomas @5:30pm and walk as a group. This will be an informal group so bring your smiles and enthusiasm. Start practicing your parade wave. Step off time is 6pm. Members of the school board and Superintendent Mike Cook will be in the pavilion by the "B" with free hot dogs, chips and water. Homecoming game is Friday, 7pm. Crowning of the King & Queen takes place at 6:30pm.

It's almost Homecoming Week! Mark your calendar. Monday October 14 is the SSLTA Community Bonfire, 6:30pm. Wednesday is the parade. Alumni are encouraged to join in the fun. Meet up at St Thomas @5:45. Step off is 6pm. If you want to watch the parade, set up a lawn chair or blanket along the route. Grab a hot dog, chips and water at the pavilion just outside the stadium. Friday is the Homecoming Football game. Kickoff is 7pm. Alumni in attendance will be recognized at halftime by decade. The celebration of our 100th anniversary continues. This is Cardinal Country!

Today is the day for the first ever BHS Alumni Cardinal Cruise. Get your kicks on Route 6. 6-10pm. Everyone (alumni, family, friends, community members)is invited to celebrate the 100th anniversary of our school district. This is a self guided, no RSVP needed, start & finish where you choose, "Lake Rd Cruise." Meet up with friends and meet new friends. Reminisce and make new memories. The Cardinal Scoop, Doughboys, Amber Oaks, BHS Alumni Park, Pez'z Bar N Grill, Dock's Tavern and Risko's are on the cruise route. Sunset tonight is 7:39. Take it in as you stroll the beautifully maintained BHS Alumni Park.
