⚽💪 What an absolute blast! 💪⚽
I truly feel blessed to coach in this community and work alongside such incredible young men, families, and alumni. Friday was one of those days that reminded me exactly why we do what we do.
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support Shawano Boys Soccer!
👥 Nearly 300 people were in attendance! What an incredible turnout from our community!
⚽ 29 alumni suited up and played!
👏 30+ alumni returned to reconnect and celebrate!
One of my favorite parts of the evening was realizing that there was at least one player in attendance from every single Shawano Boys Soccer team that Coach Boucher and I have coached together. Seeing those generations reconnect, laugh, compete, and support one another was incredibly special. That’s what it’s all about.
There were smiles, laughs, old stories, new memories, and so many great reunions. As coaches, we love the wins and the competition, but the greatest reward is seeing these young men grow into husbands, fathers, leaders, coaches, and positive members of our community. That is the true legacy of Shawano Boys Soccer.
Our community also showed up in a big way to support one of our own, Drake Herm. ❤️ Because of your generosity—and the incredible support from El Tequila Food Truck, Buzz’n Ice Cream, and Gretzinger kettle corn - we were able to donate several boxes of needed items, along with monetary donations, to send his way. Thank you for showing what makes this community so special.
On the field, every group competed hard, had fun, and most importantly, stayed healthy!
🏆 Middle School All-Star Game: Black Team 4️⃣ - Red Team 2️⃣ in a fantastic match!
🏆 Alumni Game: The Alumni scored two late goals in the third period to earn a 3️⃣-1️⃣ victory!
A special thank you to our Athletic Director, Kayla Brendemuehl, and her family for taking the time to attend, support the event, and jump in to help throughout the evening. We truly appreciate everything you do for our athletes and our program.
This wasn’t just a soccer event—it was a celebration of our past, present, and future. It was a reminder that Shawano Boys Soccer is about much more than wins and losses. It’s about relationships, community, and leaving the program better than we found it.
Thank you for making our Annual Shawano Boys Soccer Community Event such an incredible success. Based on the smiles, stories, and support we saw Friday, I have a feeling this is just the beginning of a tradition that will continue to bring our soccer family together for years to come.
⚽💪 One Team. One Town. One Family. ALL IN. 💪⚽
