The Sharon Clarinet Ensemble and the Canton Clarinet Ensemble will join together for a Clarinet Extravaganza at Sharon Porchfest on Sunday, August 30th, 3:00-4:00, 10 Fales Rd, Sharon. Bring a chair and sit on the spacious lawn. Plenty of Street parking. Special guest Shifting Paradigms play garage rock originals at 2:00 p.m.

The Sharon Performing Artists Association presented two recitals featuring 25 student and 8 adult performers. Performances included piano, violin, viola, flute and clarinet. The Sharon Performing Artists Association has been presenting these annual recitals since 1991. Congratulations to all the performers and their teachers! Participating teachers included Leslie Amper, Yulia Berry, Kathleen Kalogeras, Liz Leehey, Susan Melaugh, Dr. Daniel Neyman and Tanya Schwartzman.

The Sharon Performing Artists Association will present two student recitals Sunday May 31, 2026 at 2:30 and 4:00 at Our Lady of Sorrows Parrish, 59 Cottage St, Sharon, MA. Admission $15 cash only, children under 18 are free.

Students of Yulia Berry's Flute Studio and Clarinet Lessons in Sharon, MA with Liz Leehey performed in a Chamber Music recital on Saturday, May 9, 2026. We are so proud of our students!

Ensemble playing gives students an opportunity to expand on the techniques learned in private lessons:
*leading the group - giving the downbeat and cut-off
*giving cues and setting tempos
*reading from a score
*blending and balancing their individual parts within an ensemble
*tuning their instrument and intonation tendencies
*listening and responding to others in the ensemble
