We’re excited for Shake Fest! Join us this Sunday, October 18, for a fun-filled celebration at Thornton Park 12pm-4pm. We hope to see you there!

Join the Shaker Youth Collaborative for ShakeFest 2026 on Sunday, October 18 from noon - 4 p.m. at Thornton Park's Farnsleigh parking lot.

This free, family-friendly event will provide an afternoon full of fun, games and connection. Enjoy bounce houses for kids and adults, food trucks, Rocket Car rides, carnival games, a gaming truck and more.

ShakeFest 2026 is a collaboration between the City of Shaker Heights, Shaker Heights City School District, Shaker Schools Foundation, Shaker Heights Schools PTO, Shaker Heights Public Library, Shaker Heights Police Department, Shaker Heights Youth Center, Christ Episcopal Church and other community partners.

Parking is available at Thornton Park's Warrensville Center Road parking lot.

Boulevard's PTO and F.A.C.E. (Family and Community Engagement) have partnered to collect items to support both teachers and families in the Boulevard Community. Items will help our children during the school day. Please help us collect snacks, personal essentials, menstrual care kits, etc.

Join us at the Sunday Get Down on Sunday, September 27 from 4 - 8 pm outside the Van Aken District Market Hall for a family party with Shaker Breakers and The Van Aken District. There will be music by DJ Forrest Getemgump, lots of dancing, community and friends, and a School Supply Drive! This event is free to attend.

We will be collecting school supplies for Shaker students. If you are able, please bring school supplies to donate. Suggested supplies include: pencils, erasers pens, crayons, colored pencils, markers, Expo markers, highlighters, glue, glue sticks, notebooks, binders, backpacks, Kleenex and story books. Collected supplies will be distributed as needed by the District's Family and Community Engagement Office.

Next week is the Shaker Raider 5k and 1-mile fun run.

Join your PTO President, Chris Cheraso, tomorrow (Saturday, Sept. 26th) at the Boulevard Elementary School playground at 9:00am for a group training run around the school.

We'll start off with some light stretching and talk about what to exptect next week.

What a great morning for our Caregivers' Walk! Thank you to all the parents, guardians, caregivers, and loved ones who showed up to walk alongside our students. Thank you also for stopping by the PTO table for donuts, coffee, and a little morning fuel! 🍩☕

Yesterday, we celebrated a beautiful evening of community, connection, FREE pizza, and fun!
Our Back to School Bash was full of smiles, laughter, and great energy. The DJ was a big hit, keeping everyone moving and having a great time! We're excited for a great school year!
