🌟 It’s All About ME in Explorer Express! 🌟
This week, we’re celebrating what makes each of us uniquely US! 💕 We may have different hair, different eyes, different smiles, different personalities, and even be different heights—but there’s only ONE of each of us, and that’s pretty special! 🥰
🪞 We started by taking a good look at ourselves in the mirror—and judging by those smiles, I’d say they were pretty happy with what they saw! 😂❤️ We talked about all the things that make up our faces. How many eyes do we have? Where are our ears? What shape is our face? What color is our hair? Then our little artists got busy creating their very own self-portraits! 🎨
📏 Next up… How tall are we?! Instead of a boring old measuring tape, we used BLOCKS! 🧱 The kids stretched out while we lined blocks up from their feet allllll the way to the tops of their heads. Most of our Explorer Express friends measured about 5–6 blocks tall!
Of course, we couldn’t stop there! We counted our blocks, compared our numbers, figured out which numbers were bigger or smaller, and practiced what numbers come before and after. 🔢 Who knew measuring ourselves could sneak in so much math?! 😉
