🌟 Ohio Valley Carry is Reopening February 2025! 🌟
We’re excited to announce that Ohio Valley Carry will be back in action this February! 🚗❄️ As we gear up for our reopening, we want to share some vital tips to help you stay safe this winter season, especially while traveling. Winter weather can make the roads unpredictable, but with a little preparation, you can stay safe and confident.
Here are 3 important things you can do to stay safe in winter weather conditions on the road:
1️⃣ Prepare Your Vehicle
• Keep your gas tank at least half full to avoid freezing fuel lines.
• Check your tires for proper tread and pressure—consider snow tires if you face icy roads often.
• Stock your car with an emergency kit, including blankets, a flashlight, water, snacks, and a phone charger.
2️⃣ Adjust Your Driving
• Slow down and increase your following distance—slick roads require more time to stop.
• Avoid sudden movements like hard braking or sharp turns, which can lead to skidding.
• Be especially cautious on bridges, overpasses, and shady areas where ice can form quickly.
3️⃣ Have a Plan
• Let someone know your travel route and expected arrival time in case of emergencies.
• Familiarize yourself with your vehicle's safety features, like ABS and traction control, and know how to use them effectively.
• If conditions get too dangerous, don’t hesitate to pull over somewhere safe until it’s clear to continue.
At Ohio Valley Carry, we believe preparation is the key to safety—whether it’s on the road or in protecting yourself and your loved ones. Starting this February, we’ll be here to provide expert fi****ms training, self-defense coaching, and peace of mind through knowledge and preparedness.
