Had a sweet prenatal today with a new client. First time mom and dad. Because I include a self-paced childbirth education course in my package we get to spend these appointments getting to know each other.

And I'm not trying to cram a ton of info down their throats.

December & January due dates, our next cohort starts on the 12th.

Okay so these aren't the healthiest BUT they are healthIER than most!

Made with mostly organic ingredients and freshly milled flour these cinnamon rolls are *chef's kiss*. I'm thinking of offering a small menu as part of our postpartum (or whenever, pregnancy deserves nourishing foods, too) services. Freshly milled flour is one of my specialties.

We also raise our own chickens for meat and let me tell you the broth is incredible and a must for postpartum meals. So possibly a few sweet treats and some homemade soups/meals??

Maybe we'll see what we can roll out in 2027! I'd love your input, what would you like to see as an option?

Who you choose as your provider is the biggest decision you make. Choose wisely.

Interview more than one. Make sure they are aligned with your values and how you want to give birth.

Don't be afraid to fire your current provider and find someone different.

You don't get a do over with birth.

Hiring a doula early on can actually benefit you in helping you make this important decision.

Can I share a secret with you?

Find other women who love birth. Who don't fear birth. Surround yourself with them. Especially if your pregnant. Be intentional with who you let influence your thoughts and feelings about birth.

Today I met with my newer doulas on my team, Jessica and Amanda. They both love the Lord and love supporting moms and their babies.
