🎉 Welcome, Class of 2033! 🎉

On Tuesday, August 18, our incoming 6th graders kicked off the new school year at 6th Grade Academy! The energy was high from the moment they walked through the doors, with our dance team there to cheer them on! ❤️🖤

Throughout the day, students:
🔎 Explored the building with a scavenger hunt
🔐 Practiced opening their lockers
🎲 Played games and got to know their classmates
👩‍🏫 Met their teachers
🍕 Enjoyed lunch together
📚 Picked up their schedules
🍦 Wrapped up the day with an ice cream social!

Parents also joined us for a parent meeting to learn more about life at Seymour Middle School.

We are so excited to welcome our newest Seymour Thunder and can't wait to see all they accomplish this year! ⚡

Meet Libberty Treml, Seymour FFA Treasurer for the year 2026-27! Libberty is a funny and loyal member of the FFA and helps out whenever she can. This year she will be a junior and loves to show and share her knowledge on horses. Through FFA Libberty has worked on her public speaking skills and would like to keep expanding her knowledge on agriculture. Using all the resources available through FFA and love for horses, Libberty would like to get a degree in equine science!💙💛

Meet Lucille Neuman, Seymour FFA Secretary for the year 2026-27! Lucille is a honest and kind person to work with and brings so many new ideas to the group! This school year she will be a junior and is hoping to work on becoming a stronger leader and to encouraging others to be more involved in FFA! Although, Lucille doesn’t know what she wants to do in the future she knows for sure something in the agricultural industry, and will use all her knowledge and opportunity from FFA to help her succeed!💙💛
