“As the current President of the Board of Trustees, I have conducted meetings with professionalism and respect for all members. I am an alumnus of SUSD, a Fresno State graduate, a successful engineering business owner, a farmer, and a proud parent of three.

“As a longtime member of the Selma community, I am committed to bringing positive change and effective leadership to the Selma Unified School Board. I am not a politician; I’m a parent, grandparent, and community member just like you. As an educator with 30 years of experience, including 12 years as a teacher, 5 years as a site administrator, and 13 years as a district-level administrator, I am uniquely qualified to represent you. My priorities include:
1. Prioritize Student Learning: Every student deserves an education that prepares them for a bright future.
2. Support Our Dedicated Teachers and Classified Staff: Fully qualified educators and fully qualified classified staff make a crucial difference in our students’ lives every day.
3. Engage with Our Parents: Parents are key partners. Together with parents, we can ensure our students receive the support they need to be successful.
