Late-night post about stickers. Pretty sweet. The small rocks are pink granite. I've always loved pink granite, as a kid I’d go camping, hiking, and rock climbing at Enchanted Rock which is a huge pink granite deposit near Fredricksburg, Texas.

Fun fact about pink granite: It's composed mainly of quartz, feldspar, and mica. The pink huecmes from a high concentration of potassium feldspar. This stone forms from the slow crystallization of magma beneath the Earth’s surface, allowing large crystals to develop. Pretty cool, huh? I love geology.

This sticker reminded me of a conversation I had with my wife earlier, so I thought I’d share. I’m considering getting a full back tattoo but can’t decide on the imagery or style. I have a large portrait tattoo on my torso and woodcut tattoos on my arms.

A larger scale woodcut scene on my back would look cool, but I also love the Japanese Irezumi style with its geometric waves and patterns. Incorporating both styles would be amazing, but I can’t decide which direction to go in.

I don’t think anyone is going to read this, so I figured I’d throw out some ideas for myself.
