🌟 Helpful First Day Reminders

The first day of Pre-K is a BIG step for our little Matadors! Here are a few helpful reminders to make the morning easier for everyone:

* 🏷️ Name Tag: Please have your child wear their name tag with their first name and teacher’s name on it every day.
* 👟 Dress for Play: Tennis shoes are best! Our students will be moving, playing, and enjoying recess throughout the day.
* 🥪 Label Everything: Please label lunchboxes, water bottles, blankets, backpacks, and other personal belongings with your child’s name.
* 💊 Medications: Please do not send medication with your child. If your child needs medication at school, please see our school nurse for the proper procedures.
* 💛 Let Them Walk: To help our little Matadors build confidence and independence, parents will not be permitted to walk students to their classrooms. Our staff will be ready to welcome and assist your child!
* ⏰ Give Yourself Extra Time: The first few mornings may take a little longer as everyone learns the routines. Give yourself plenty of time and try to arrive with a calm, positive attitude.
* 👋 Keep Goodbyes Short & Positive: A confident goodbye can help ease separation. Let your child know you love them, they are safe, and you’ll see them after school!

Remember: It’s okay if there are a few tears! 💛 Our teachers and staff are experienced in helping little ones transition into school. We’ve got them—and you—covered!

🚗 Did you know we have TWO pick-up areas to help dismissal go even faster?

Your designated pick-up area is based on the color of the pick-up tag you received at Meet the Teacher.

⏰ Dismissal begins at 3:10 P.M.

🔵 FRONT PICK-UP — BLUE TAGS
Cars will line up along San Antonio Ave. and turn into the front of the school for student pick-up.

🟡 BACK PICK-UP — YELLOW TAGS
Cars will line up along Cemetery Ave. and enter the back of the school for student pick-up once the school buses have departed.

🚨 Safety Reminder:
For the safety of all students, parents are not permitted to walk up to either the front or back pick-up areas. Please remain in your vehicle and follow the designated car line procedures.
