AI is not the virus. 🦠

We're the ones it's learning from.

Every fear we feed it. Every bias we build into it. Every angry post we click on.

AI doesn't invent those patterns. It amplifies them, faster and farther than anything humanity has ever built.

That's the uncomfortable truth behind my new book, Is AI a Virus?

But there's a hopeful truth too.

The same technology that spreads our worst patterns can help us see them clearly enough to change them. It all depends on how awake we are when we use it.

Remember Star Trek? 🖖

In a 1968 episode, Captain Kirk gets a bad feeling. A "red alert" right on the back of his neck.
