We are excited to announce that The Comedy Academy will have a new permanent home.

We are excited to announce the future home of The Groundhog - 227 S Ohio in Sedalia, Missouri, formerly Sedalia's Uptown Theater.

It's a bittersweet honor that The Groundhog Day Theater is again nominated in The Pitch for best comedy venue in Kansas City. Thank you for all who performed, saw shows, took classes, and otherwise supported the theater 2018-2022.

Who knows of a venue where a poor, underfunded nonprofit comedy academy could continue to offer classes?
