September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month. 💙

Sebring High School HOSA is joining the conversation to remind our students, families, and community that mental health matters and every person matters.

Sometimes the most important thing we can do is simply check in. Ask someone how they are doing. Listen without judgment. Encourage them to reach out for help. A small moment of kindness or connection can make a bigger difference than we realize.

You matter. You are not alone. Hope lives here.

🩺 New year, new members, and new opportunities! HOSA is ready for an exciting year filled with leadership, service, competition, new experiences, and plenty of fun along the way. Whether you’re a returning member or thinking about joining for the first time, we want YOU to be part of what we have planned! 💙❤️ Come see what HOSA is all about and help us kick off an amazing year at our first member meeting on September 17th during Study Hall. HOSA and the Sebring Health Science Program had an outstanding year! Our students accomplished so much, and we could not be more proud of their hard work and dedication.

Students who qualified for SLC represented Sebring with pride at the State Leadership Conference. All students participated in an “Adopt-a-Grandparent” program, bringing smiles, companionship, and cheer to residents at a local nursing home. They also volunteered countless hours throughout the community, showing compassion and a true heart for service.

In addition to giving back, many students earned valuable certifications, including Patient Care Technician (PCT), Medical Administrative Assistant, and Basic Life Support (BLS).

These students put in an incredible amount of work this year, and it truly shows. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and look forward to seeing all they will continue to achieve. ❤️🩺 Career & Technical Education-CTE School Board of Highlands County Sebring High School
