Hey friends, I am out of town during Moonlight Madness this year, and the boys play football. Unfortunately we won’t be open to see all your lovely faces.
BUT you can stop down the road at Busy Babe Boutique and get your Angry Ginger's Roadside Grill fix.
And some of our vendors will be set up at Sebewaing Township Library.

A creative week is waiting at Rose Island Originals! 🍂🎨

Here’s what’s happening:

🔥 Tonight at 6 PM — Hat Burning Workshop
We still have room if you’re ready for a spontaneous creative night!

🌻 Wednesday at 6 PM — Fall Sola Wood Flower Workshop
Choose your favorite fall project and create something beautiful with sola wood flowers. There’s still time to join us!

🍁 Sunday — Fall Porch Makeover Crafternoon
This is the BIG one! You’ll create a coordinated doormat, 4-foot porch leaner and 18-inch door hanger—all in one fun afternoon, with lunch included. Imagine walking away with your entire porch ready for fall!

Plus, tonight we’ll finally reveal our slightly delayed Sunday Drop, and ordering will remain open through Wednesday evening.

What an amazing weekend at Thumb Octagon Barn Fall Family Days! 🍂

We loved seeing so many familiar faces, meeting tons of new people, and sending more signs and DIY kits home with all of you. And we’ve already received our first completed-project photo—look at the beautiful sign Isabel created! 🎨❤️ If you’ve finished your project or have a photo of your new sign hanging in your home, we’d love to see it! Post a picture and tag us so we can celebrate your creativity and share it with our community.

A huge thank-you to the event organizers and the many volunteers who worked so hard to make everything run so smoothly. We appreciate all that goes into putting on an event of this size, and we’re already excited to return next year!

And one tiny scheduling note: this week’s Sunday Drop will be delayed until tomorrow. We are simply exhausted and haven’t counted the votes or painted the winning sample yet. 😂 Thank you for giving us a little grace—and stay tuned!

WOW—what a great first day at Octagon Barn! 🍂🎨

Thank you to everyone who stopped to browse, visit and check out all the creativity packed into our tent. Tomorrow, our Canvas Paint Kits and Create-a-Critter Kits will be front and center—and they’re perfect for keeping little hands busy and creative!

🎨 Canvas Paint Kits include the canvas, paint, brushes and instructions.

🧸 Create-a-Critter Kits include the animal, stuffing, a T-shirt to decorate, markers and instructions.

Everything you need is included—just grab a kit and create at home! Come see us tomorrow before your favorite design or critter is gone.

This week we're going full-on fall...

This little scarecrow face has ALL the fall personality — and just wait until I get some paint and raffia on him. 😍

🎃 **B — PUMPKIN TRIO**
Three different dimensional pumpkins, each with its own details. I already have ideas for how I want to put my own RIO spin on these!

A little creativity around the table. ❤️🎨

I'm finally getting around to sharing some photos from one of our recent private groups at the studio!

One of my favorite things about private events is that they don't all have to look the same. Everyone can put their own spin on their project, choose their colors, change things up a little — and somehow everything looks so good sitting together at the end. 😍

And really, the projects are only part of it.

It's an excuse to get your people together, catch up, laugh, create something and spend a couple hours doing something a little different.
