Okay… this one might be even prettier in person. 🌼✨

There’s something about arranging real pressed flowers and watching an ordinary piece turn into something completely unique. No two ever come out exactly the same—and that might be my favorite part.

This Saturday, August 29, we’re bringing the flowers, creativity, and a little resin magic to the studio for our Pressed Flower & Resin Workshop.

We already have 5 creators joining us, but there’s still room around the table. 💛

Choose your project, pick your flowers, and make it completely your own. And if you’ve never worked with pressed flowers or resin before, that’s totally okay—no experience needed.

**Okay friends… FALL is coming to Rose Island Originals and I’m SO ready for it!**

I’ve been working behind the scenes getting the studio calendar filled back up, and September is looking like it’s going to be a fun one. 🤎

Here’s a little sneak peek at some of what I’m working on…

🍁 And a BIG **Decorate Your Porch** fall workshop where we’ll create coordinating pieces for your front porch!

I’m still putting the finishing touches on everything and getting registration loaded onto the new website, but before I make it all official, **I want to hear from YOU.**

Stop out to Kohl Farms Jesus Freak Christian Music event. We have our DIY slime station and sola flower cross in the event barn, and the guys at Blue Craft Coffee Roasters have the roaster going with free samples outside. It’s a beautiful day to celebrate and worship.

I have WAY too many project ideas floating around over here, so I’m putting this decision in your hands. 😂

Which kind of fall creative night sounds more like your thing?

🌸 TEAM SOLA FLOWERS — creating a gorgeous fall piece with sola wood flowers, greenery + all the pretty details.

✨ TEAM GLASS + RESIN — painting your fall design, then adding crushed glass, sparkle + resin to make it really come to life.

Or…

🙋‍♀️ TEAM BOTH — because choosing is completely unnecessary and I should just put BOTH on the calendar. 😂

Apparently owning a DIY studio means your teenagers and their friends become product testers. 😂

Today Xander + Levi got recruited for a little slime-making practice before we take the DIY Slime Station to Kohl Farms’ Jesus Freak event next weekend!

We mixed, stretched, added all the fun stuff…and made exactly the kind of mess you’d expect. 🙌

I also had this great idea that we could offer DIY squishies.

Yeahhhh… those did NOT go according to plan. 😂 We’re calling that one product research and moving on.

But the SLIME?! 👏 Definitely a go!

Come find Rose Island Originals next Saturday and let the kids make their own slime, choose their add-ins, and take their creation home!

The lasers are running, the fall projects are piling up, and I’m finally getting our fall workshop calendar pulled together!

There are a LOT of fun things coming — some familiar favorites and a few projects we haven’t offered before. 👀

We’re bringing the creativity to Kohl Farms’ Jesus Freak event on Saturday, August 15!

This floral cross will be our adult DIY project for the day. You’ll get to slow down, get creative, choose your flowers, and make something beautiful to take home. No crafting experience required—promise. 😉

I’m loving how all the texture from the wood, twine + sola flowers comes together on this one.

We’re bringing a little creativity to Kohl Farm! 🌸✨

We’ll be joining the Jesus Freak event at Kohl Farm on Saturday, August 15, and of course we couldn’t show up without something fun to MAKE!

🌸 For the grown-ups (or crafty kiddos!) — create your own sola wood flower cross. Choose your flowers, play with the arrangement, and make it completely your own.

🩷 For the kids (or grown-ups who love slime 😉) — we’ll have a DIY Slime Station where you can create your own slime and choose the fun stuff to mix in!

Both will be make-and-take activities available throughout the event, so just stop by the Rose Island Originals booth when you’re ready to get creative.

I’m still working out the final details + pricing, but I couldn’t wait to show you this one. 😍
