🌷Meet Pippa! Born and raised right here in Seattle, Pippa has lived in the US, France and the UK. She has a long history with the Alliance Française network, having worked at chapters in both the US and the UK before returning home to share her expertise with our community.

With an MA in French (focusing on literary translation) and an MA in History of Art, as well as six years of teaching experience, Pippa brings an academic and creative depth to her work.

In addition to teaching, Pippa also works as our Communication Coordinator, helping to tell the story of AFSeattle every day, and as a DELF & TEF examiner. Whether she is in the classroom or behind the scenes, her dedication to the Francophone world is at the heart of our mission.

What does it mean to navigate two cultures? 🌍

In EUPHRATE, Nil Bosca brings us the story of a high school senior struggling with mediocre grades and the daunting task of choosing a career path. Through witty dialogue and expressive movement, she embarks on a journey through her Turkish roots and French childhood memories.

It’s a story about the universal struggle of growing up, the complexities of dual heritage, and the ultimate freedom of affirming who you truly are.

Following the performance, stay for an exclusive Q&A in English with the artist!
