On April 23, West Seattle High School counselors will come to Madison to help 8th-grade students register for next year's classes.

The Neighborcare Wellness Center, based in Madison Middle School, provides a wide range of services for your students to stay healthy! The Wellness Center is designed with all students in mind as an inclusive and safe space for students to get the resources they need. We are also pleased to offer sports physicals, sick visits, Dental visits, and Mental Health visits. Please feel free to stop by the wellness center anytime to say hello and ask any questions. We look forward to serving you and your student!!

Madison's 8th-grade promotion celebration will again be held at West Seattle High School in their gym on Tuesday, June 16, at 6:30pm. Doors will open at 6pm for seating. Because we have an extra-large promotion class, each 8th grader will receive two tickets in June for two guests.

Free Skate Night at South Gate Roller Rink, April 15

SW Seattle Youth Coalition and Westside HEY Coalition are hosting a Spring Break Roller Skate Event.

Join us at Southgate Roller Rink on Wednesday, April 15 from 1-3pm for a fun afternoon of Roller Skating to celebrate Spring and do something fun with friends during school break.

We are in need of an Auction Chair and 8th-Grade Dance Organizer for the 2026-27 school year so that these traditions can continue. All current core committee members are "graduating" to high school next school year.

Thank you so much for supporting the Madison PTSA auction last week! It was a huge success, and we want to thank you for your support. In the face of mounting funding challenges for education in our state, district, and school, this year's auction was a hugely important fundraiser to ensure our Madison students and staff can have the best possible experiences while they are Bulldogs. By the end of the night, we raised almost $50,000, which far exceeded our target of $40,000. This has given the PTSA incredible momentum for the goals set for the next school year in order to support our students, teachers, and community.

We also wanted to host an event to foster our sense of community to allow people to connect and have fun. We are grateful to all of you who showed up in-person, online, to volunteer, or through other contributions. It was fun to see so many people dressed in their soccer/football/fútbol team gear with even some rugby and baseball sprinkled in. We were happy so many people enjoyed the photo booth and DJ Xendless spinning fantastic tunes. The food from the El Gran Tacos & Snapdragon was delicious, the games were a blast, and there were so many compelling items to bid on thanks to our incredible donors. The night was filled with so much laughter, reconnecting, and generosity!

There are so many volunteers who worked tirelessly to pull this event off and a long list of generous donors to thank and to whom we are truly grateful. We are particularly indebted to our auction committee; extraordinary MC & Auctioneer, Ryan Sheaffer; the PTSA Board; the talented student vocalists and speakers; and, finally, Dr. Pierce and Ms. Riach. It was a great reminder of what a strong community we have at Madison Middle School and what we can accomplish when we come together.
