💙✨ Celebrating 71 Years of Faith, Learning and Community ✨💙
On May 31, we gathered to honor the incredible 71-year legacy of St. Matthew School. With more than 400 attendees, including founding families, alumni spanning every decade, former teachers and staff and current families, it was a special celebration of the people and memories that have shaped our school community.
The day started by celebrating Mass and then gathering together for food and friends. It was filled with joy, connection, gratitude and stories that reminded us of the lasting impact of St. Matthew School.
Thank you to everyone who made the celebration special and all who joined us in celebrating St. Matthew School. 💙⚡

🏆🎉 Huge congrats to our Athletes of the Year: Isabelle and Jordan from 8th grade!
🏅They were recognized during Junior Olympics last week for their sportsmanship, teamwork and showing PRISM (pride, respect, inclusion, safety & manners) throughout the year. ⚽🏀🏐
📣Also a SHOUT OUT to the Purple Gems team who won the coveted sportsmanship award and enjoyed a day of free dress today.
💙And a huge THANK YOU to all our volunteers who made Jr. Olympics possible. We especially appreciate all of our alumni who return to keep the Thunder spirit alive and our guest speaker, Elisabeth Wu, class of 2018. She challenged students to do their best and just keep trying every day, which has helped her in her collegiate rowing and academics, and in her current role at the Office for Catholic Schools.⚡
Go, Thunder!
