Today is Native American Heritage Day. On this day, and throughout the month of November, we honor indigenous people and their culture. We vow to protect their lands, strengthen tribal sovereignty, and ensure a bright future for all indigenous people.

Monday October 25th join us for an engaging afternoon for a strategy conference on the laws, policies, political considerations, and advocacy efforts for climate displaced persons.
Moderated by USIPC director Tom K. Wong, this conference will feature four panels of speakers representing experts in the law, politics, policy, and advocacy surrounding climate displaced persons, including:
- Jonathan Martinez, Legislative Director for Rep. Nydia Velázquez (D-NY-7)
- Gabriel De Roche, PhD Candidate in Political Science, University of California, San Diego
- Kayly Ober, Senior Advocate and Program Manager, Climate Displacement Program, Refugees International
