Melody In Your Heart- Lauren Davies

I will be teaching violin in the fall of 2025. I offer lessons at my home in Bothell, WA, and my church in Snohomish. I teach beginner to intermediate students through a classical method, using Suzuki and other theory and music books. I will also incorporate different styles of music as my students request.
As a violin teacher, I want to help others grow in their knowledge of music. Music is also a way to teach a diligent work ethic and use one's talent to bless others. I strive to teach my students good techniques and tools so that they can play whatever they want to.
I teach on Wednesdays (at my home) and Thursdays (at my church). Please get in touch with me to arrange a time that works for you. Depending on their skill level, students can have 30-minute lessons ($25) or 45-minute lessons ($35).

If you have never touched an instrument before, this is the perfect opportunity for you to try out different instruments and learn more about music theory. If you are an avid musician, this is a wonderful chance for you to play with others and enjoy the company of other musicians.

We will have time for people to play together and enjoy the company of other musicians and also to learn more about new instruments and work on group pieces. At the end of the camp we will have a program where each instrument group will play a piece, everyone will play a group song, and different people can create their own groups.

I’m going to be hosting a Music Camp a Peniel Ranch this summer!

When? July 11-14th, 2024
Where? Peniel Ranch, Okanogan WA
Who? Anyone who loves music- whether you’ve been playing for years or are just getting started.

We’ll have classes for different instruments and everyone will be able to take part in the group pieces being played at the camp recital!

I will be teaching violin lessons starting on January 3rd. I will be teaching lessons weekly, on Wednesdays or Thursdays, at my home in Bothell or at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Snohomish.
I have been playing violin since 2009 and have taught violin since 2020. I teach mainly classical violin, but I like to incorporate other styles of music as the student desires. My purpose in teaching violin is to develop a love for music within my students and for them to glorify God with their ability to play the violin!
