The fastest way to learn is by solving your own problems.

The Brainy Bunch offers the easiest homeschooling method that gets maximum results.

All of the kids in this family started college by age 12! This book shows how!

The Win Room School House model borrows from The Brainy Bunch, but throws in concepts from gurus like Tim Ferriss and Josh Waitzkin.

Rather than fussing over curriculum, our model empowers kids to create their own lesson plans, and their own futures!

Just ask them anything!
Too many parents and teachers spend their time telling kids what to do, what to become, and they never pause to ask:

What do YOU want?
What do YOU think?
What do YOU feel?

When education is based on THE CHILD instead of the adult, learning is fun, easy and productive.

School doesn’t need four walls
It doesn’t need books
And it doesn’t need desks

If you have a passion for learning and encouraging others in their goals, you could run a Win Room School House.

Got a cool tree? Bonus! But not required.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

A builder
An architect
A designer
A real estate agent
An engineer

Whatever it is—there’s a community near you that can teach and guide!

We had the opportunity to talk about School Choice with the Idaho Freedom Foundation!

This was a follow-up interview from what feels like another lifetime.
Franki has truly gone from Student to Teacher in the last few years.

I am so thankful for the educational journey we have had; it's been tough, but it's given us an array of tools to share with other families (and legislators, too).

The FIRST thing State Legislators can repeal to improve education:
☑️ mandated seat times

The average seat time requirement is 180 days or 1080 hours.

This is how we end up with whole weeks of Spirit Days, whole hours of busy work, and hesitation about canceling school in a blizzard.

The SECOND thing to repeal or reform:
☑️the relationship between the school and transportation system

The bus union requires varying things that have nothing to do with education, like the minimum number of hours a bus driver needs to be on the clock each day.

The bus system creates a huge logistical nightmare, where the needs of the union outweigh any common sense around educating children.

Schools start at weird times like 7:37 AM because of the bus system.
Offer a tax credit to parents who do NOT use the bus system, to see the reality of how many people really need it, and incentivize the parents who only use the bus system "because it's free." IT IS NOT FREE.

The THIRD item to repeal:
☑️ any and ALL unconstitutional rules/policies

And that last one will keep you busy for awhile. 🙂

In the discussion about School Choice, remember: YOU have the choice to participate in a broken system, leave it, or fix it.

Exercise your rights, cuz you are getting flabby, America.

Mompreneur Angela Smithee believes that all children have a desire to learn, grow and excel. Smithee has over fifteen years of experience in teaching and coaching children. Her focus in the classroom is instilling intrinsic motivation while challenging kids to think bigger.

Smithee was a star student growing up, but realized her junior year of high school that the "work hard, get good grades, go to college, get a great job" mantra was not a sure-fire method for success.
