Hi! The Deaf LGBTQ+ Identity and Community Survey I am running is collecting responses! This FB page is meant to help spread the word! Community members were instrumental in the development of this project and it really aims to center voices of respondents. The survey has a lot of questions and is offered in ASL and English. If you are 18+, live in the USA, identify as Deaf/deaf/HoH/DeafBlind/DeafDisabled, and identify as LGBTQ+ /Q***r, please consider taking the survey! It takes 20-50 minutes to complete; when you complete the survey, 10$ will be donated to a charity of your choice.

Study Overview: Deaf-Q***r: Identity and Community in the United States is a multi-phase study that includes online ethnography, a bilingual online survey conducted in American Sign Language and English and interviews. The study seeks to center and examine the unique perspectives of Deaf-Q***r/LGBTQ...

Welcome to my survey on Deaf-LGBTQ+ identity and community. My name is Ryan DeCarsky. I am a doctoral student of Sociology at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. I am Q***r, hearing, and an American Sign Language student. My research focus is on LGBTQ+ identity, culture, and community. Sometimes people do not consider the groups within the LGBTQ+ community, so I aim to study the Deaf-LGBTQ+ perspective. I hope you consider taking the survey! For more information on me or the research, please email me or check out my website: ryandecarsky.com
