For this turning season, we give thanks.
For this changing world, we hold fast.
Even as fear and anger rise,
we will not turn away.
We come together in change,
refusing destruction, refusing darkness.
May we lead with our hearts,
in unity, in compassion, in grace.
May balance find us,
may love be the work that binds us all.
So mote it be.

Today I took a simple walk with my daughter through the neighborhood. It was not long, yet it was lovely — time well spent together, collecting small offerings from the earth to place upon our Mabon altar. Fruits and flowers, nuts and leaves, each a quiet gift of the season. We will set them outside, where the creatures of the garden may search through them in their own time.
Later, I will sit at the altar, holding space for myself and reflecting on the turning of the wheel, as autumn ushers us ever closer to Samhain. I love this season dearly: the colors shifting day by day, the crispness in the air, the gentle reminder that the year moves toward its close.
Today I was simply grateful for a short walk with someone I adore. My altar remains my safe space — a place of reverence and gratitude, where I may meet myself, my Anam Cara, and any who wish to join me, seen or unseen.

Social media offers no true reflection of life’s course. It is but a fleeting glimpse of moments carefully chosen, fragments of the whole.
This year bears a particular weight upon the heart.
Today, as I move through the quiet ritual of preparing my Mabon meal, I allow space for these thoughts and feelings to dwell beside me. I seek guidance in their company.
As the season’s darkness advances, I strive to honor what I already hold, while also admitting to the work that remains unfinished. There is much yet to be done; for it is in the turning of thought into action that true magick reveals itself.
May we lift our voices against injustice.
May our words be joined with our deeds.
May harmony, balance, and safety be known in all our communities.
May kindness prevail.
May love endure.
May peace find us.
So mote it be.

We’re in the 9th month of a 9-year and I can feel it. 9 energy is all about release, endings, and truth bubbling up. Collectively, it feels like people are done tolerating what no longer works. It’s uncomfortable, but like a snake shedding its skin, the old has to fall away for something new to grow.
If you’re feeling this energy too, here’s a simple practice you can try:
Find a quiet space.
Write down the patterns, habits, or heaviness you’re ready to release.
Hold the paper with something that symbolizes shedding — dried leaves, flower petals, or even a piece of tissue paper.
Visualize your words and whisper, I shed what no longer fits.
Tear up the pieces and either bury or burn them safely.
Close by grounding with water or earth and say aloud “I honor endings. I honor beginnings. I step into the new.”
Now, do.

I’ll be opening up my practice to new clients in the coming weeks and will be working from a lovely shared space in Shoreline.
I’ll share more details as they come together, but in the meantime, if you’re interested in a session, please let me know, and I’ll add you to my mailing list for updates.
I’m looking forward to connecting with you.
