We are happy to announce that our beach cleanup is back for a second year! SSA UW's cleanup will help reduce marine habitat damage by collecting and properly disposing of marine debris from our beautiful Seattle waterfronts. In the process, volunteers will be breaking down the stereotype that only religious communities serve their community. The beach cleanup will be held on Sunday May 22nd, 2022 from 11:00AM to 2:00PM at 2-3 locations around the Seattle area. We welcome anyone and everyone to volunteer!

Enjoy the wonderful spring weather and hike with us from campus to Gasworks Park. We will meet in Savery Hall 167 and leave for Gasworks at 6:10 PM. Be sure to bring water and appropriate clothing. We'll take a break at the park before heading back, so feel free to bring camera, frisbees, or snacks to enjoy while we're there!

Come to our meeting this Thursday for a discussion on LGBTQIA+ and secular intersections. Our volunteer coordinator Laza Hart, who also works at Seattle-based trans-rights organization Gender Justice League, will be presenting and leading the discussion. We look forward to seeing you all!
