Expect thoughtful speeches, cultural discoveries, and plenty of opportunities to learn something new while sharpening your public speaking skills.

And after the meeting, stick around for our monthly Post Toast Prost at Good Society Brewing — a chance to keep the conversations going over food and drinks with fellow Toasties. 🍻

Picture this: the Seattle Mariners in the World Series. The only MLB team to never make it there has finally done the impossible. Seattle has collectively lost its mind. ⚾🌧️

Toastmaster James Bush is leading us through the theme “Mariners in the World Series!” in tonight’s meeting — a celebration (or perhaps a thought experiment?) around what might happen if Seattle’s baseball dreams finally came true.

Expect hometown spirit, lively speeches, and plenty of opportunities to imagine the city in full playoff chaos.

Pickleball… controversial? In West Seattle?? Apparently, yes!

This Thursday, April 30th, Toastmaster Michael Brunner is diving into the very serious (and possibly divisive) topic of pickleball — and what’s going on with our neighbors over in West Seattle.

Come for the speeches, stay for the perspective… and maybe pick a side while you’re at it.

And after the meeting, we’re heading to Good Society Brewing for our monthly Post Toast Prost, 8:45-close.

Some you might recognize. Others might catch you off guard. Either way, you may just walk away with a new perspective on a place you thought you already knew.

We’ll explore the idea of frivolity — what it means, what gets labeled as “frivolous,” and how those definitions can shift depending on perspective. Expect a mix of reflection, curiosity, and conversation around the things we don’t always take seriously.

Join us for an evening of fresh perspectives, engaging speeches, and a bit of fun along the way.

After tonight’s meeting, we’ll be heading to ’s Queen Anne location for a Post Toast Prost 🍻

Good Society is all ages and offers beer, cider, wine, NA beer, sodas, and a few light bites. It’s a cozy spot, but don’t get *too* cozy— they close at 10pm.

Can’t make this one? No worries! This recently revived club tradition happens after the last Thursday meeting of every month. Hope to raise a glass with you soon! 🙂
