Journey Within Birthing and Parenting Services

The TEEN Network of Snohomish County is hosting a fundraiser in conjunction with my daughter for her 8th grade community project in hopes of raising awareness of the local at risk youth crisis in Snohomish County. This is a wish list of items for the teens. All donations are sent directly to the TEEN Network and handed out to teens in need.

Bringing Hope through Navigation Services for At-risk & Homeless Youth These are snacks for our local Snohomish County at risk youth. The kids need easy to carry, little to no cooking involved options as they navigate this tricky time.

Last Birth of 2024 🎊

It has been a blessing to work with all of the families during prenatal, birth, and postpartum this year! I have been a part of so many new journeys and wouldn't change it for anything. Thank you ❤️

Last Placenta Encapsulation Of The Year ❤️

The placenta has always looked like the Tree of Life to me. It's an amazing organ created solely to create life, being birthed, and then its job is done.

I have encapsulated 30+ placentas this year. Each one is unique and beautiful; some are smaller, some have really long cords, some have really defined shapes, and all of them helped create a new life.

A doula's role is to support the birthing person and new parents by listening to and responding to their needs. Studies have shown that doulas can help reduce anxiety, lower the rate of medical interventions, and improve mother-baby bonding.

It is coming up on that time of the year again… Christmas.

As usual, we do our darnedest to match any family we’ve served in the last year, with a donor to help supply a Christmas gifts for them.

For every year we can recall, we’ve been very blessed to be chosen as a resource that a local LARGE employer distributes to their staff. The employees generally cover at least half of the donors required to supply Christmas for over 100 families (generally 400+ individuals).

It seems this year that we did not make it on their list and we’re going to NEED HELP!!!

If you can ”adopt” a family for Christmas this year, PLEASE shoot Sarah an email at [email protected] with the size family you’d like to help.

These are families who have been through some of the worst times in their lives, coping with deaths in the family, domestic violence, homelessness, house fires, etc.

This is a tangible way to care for and rally around our struggling neigbors 💚

Welcoming another little one within 24hrs

These back to back births remind me that due dates are helpful for some data, but do not tell us when a little one will join us as "an outside baby." Clients due dates were not close together and in theory I wouldn't have planned to be going from one birth to bed and to another birth within 24hrs but if this career has taught me anything; it's that babies don't follow rules 😉

I am so excited and honored to be welcomed into this space, welcoming this new little one into the world tonight. So happy birth day, and thank you for having me at your party 🩷
