"The program is good, and I like that you can ask questions as you go."

That's a real student on what's actually made the difference: live Q&A when you're stuck, plus a full video library you can rewatch anytime a concept doesn't click the first time.

Her takeaway after going through it: the tools are there, consistency is on you, and if you stay consistent, you'll be productive.

Getting rejected doesn't mean something's wrong with you -- it means you're playing a numbers game.

Apply to 50 roles, you might land 1 interview. Apply to 5,000, you're looking at 100 interviews -- and from 100 interviews, a real offer is realistic.

The volume is what actually gets you there, not waiting for the sting of rejection to stop.

One of our students called out exactly what we're going for: not just lectures, but step-by-step, practical mini-projects -- like a real Snowflake project -- that actually mirror what you'd be doing in a professional role.

Two things separate a good mock interview from a great one: breaking down the question into notes and pseudocode before you touch code, and talking out loud the entire time. Do both, ask for feedback, and actually listen to it. That's the loop that gets people hired. Join our community on Skool: https://smpl.is/ammpw

By default, Kafka sends messages to partitions in a round-robin, random order. But if you need order preserved -- like tracking inventory for a point-of-sale system -- specifying a key sends every message with that key to the same partition, every time.

Want to stand out as an engineer? Stop just solving problems. Start documenting them like a leader.

One simple internal document can show that you understand more than just the technical side of your job.

Use this three-part framework:

Problem

Identify a systemic issue affecting another team or the organization.

Impact

Explain what happens if the problem isn't addressed—and why the business should care.

Proposed Approach

Present a clear solution for fixing the problem.

That's it.

You're not just saying, "Here's a technical issue."

You're showing that you can identify problems, understand business impact, and propose solutions.

That's the kind of thinking that helps demonstrate scope and leadership.

Not every "intermediate" question is actually easier than the "advanced" one -- and knowing how to budget your time across question types, instead of assuming difficulty follows the label, is part of what we coach in every mock session.

In one of our mock sessions, a student was talking through his logic clearly -- until he hit a confusing part and went quiet. That's exactly the wrong moment to stop, because that's when the interviewer loses track of whether your thinking is even correct.

We had someone go from a consulting job with zero tech background to a $160K role - in 6 months. It's not guaranteed to be fast, and it's not as common as with a tech background, but if you commit, it's very possible. Join our community on Skool: https://smpl.is/ammpr
