You did it, Firebirds! Thank you to our amazing assembly team for once again showcasing the incredible talent of our students. We honor each and every one of you today for being responsible, safe, and caring and for persisting through this challenging year!

We wish our 5th graders, City Year team, retirees, and staff moving onto other new adventures the very best of luck and happiness always. You always have a home here at Rising Star. We love you and appreciate all you have given to our school community.

Please come to the school today to return devices, pick up books and other summer goodies, and say goodbye to staff.

Tomorrow, Friday, June 18th is our last day of school, all online. We’ll start with an awesome all-school assembly at 8:00 and then we ask that all families come to the school to drop off technology and pick up summer reading books from Page Ahead and Satterberg. See schedule below in photos. We also have some treats to kick off a sweet summer!

You do not need to return your devices if you are attending Summer School.

Our 5th Grade Promotion is Wednesday morning from 9-10 am over Teams. The link is available from classroom teachers. After the ceremony (starting around 11 am) our staff will go on a car parade through all of our 5th graders’ neighborhoods. Our parade will be loud and proud! We can’t wait to celebrate the accomplishments of the Rising Star Class of 2021!

Our Kindergarten Promotion is also on Wednesday morning from 8-9, also over Teams. We know our youngest Firebirds are ready to rise onto 1st grade and look forward to a special celebration together!
