Such a proud moment for all of us Junior Asha mentors and Asha for Education - Seattle Chapter volunteers - our junior Asha class of 2024 is hosting a fundraiser at chipotle. These volunteers have liasoned with chipotle , securing a spot and time to host this fundraiser. The funds raised through this will be part of Junior Asha’s support to Adruta children’s home.

We partnered with Seattle Asian Art Museum and Seattle Art Museum for our annual Diwali event and it was a huge sec was. Thankful for the collaboration and our amazing volunteers and mentors who helped pull this off .

Junior Asha volunteers came together to fight and support food insecurity and volunteered our time at Food Lifeline yesterday. Our volunteers and mentors helped pack nearly 2000 lbs of rice which will be stocked at all the food banks across Washington, helping people in need.

Every year, our volunteers hand write holiday cards to be sent out to our donors. The creativity on these cards and enthusiasm of the volunteers doing it are incredibly heart warming. We can't wait for you to see these cards In Your mail boxes very soon🙂

We had one of our largest events last weekends. For more than 10 years, we have partnered with Seattle Asian Art Museum to showcase Junior Asha and Asha for Education - Seattle Chapter . This year we had the opportunity to partner with Alapadma, Chennai Beats, Nrityashastrara and Naadanam Academy of Performing Arts. It was a great show and we are thankful for being able to showcase the cultures and traditions of India. Looking forward to collaborate with these great partners in the coming years as well. We volunteered at Eastside Baby Corner this morning , sorting and packing clothes for kids who need it the most. Such a humbling experience and it was great to see the whole process from the donations coming in to it being distributed to those who need it.

25 Junior Asha volunteers led by our mentor Chaarmi Kathrani, volunteered at the food lifeline warehouse this morning packing 3000 lbs of rice for the needy and their families. Kudos to all the volunteers for giving time to such a worthy cause.

Another new year full of possibilities- some familiar faces and some new faces, all coming together for a common cause and to give back.
