I've been practicing yoga for the last 13 years, starting with my first pregnancy. It has been a wonderful journey for me personally, and I would love the opportunity to pass it along! I am a Yoginos for Youth yoga instructor, birth doula, a 200-hr certified yoga instructor through Lex Gillian at The Yoga Institute, and a licensed physical therapist assistant. I am excited to announce Yoga for tween/teenage girls!
It has been on my heart now for some time, to form a yoga group for tweens/teenage girls.
Yoga not only increases neurotransmitters in the brain and helps to level out hormones, but offers these girls a community during a time where they’re faced with multiple challenges regarding confidence, body image, and gossip encircling them.
In class, we’ll not only be moving, but discussing the importance of movement, good nutrition, strategies to deal with anxiety, and much more. I want it to be a safe space where we can all not only move together, but a place where these girls can develop relationships with each other based on forming a loving community.
Join me in this 8-week session for tween/teenage girls, ages 12-17, June 3rd-July 22nd on Saturdays from 12-1pm, located at:
