Hello everyone! Just some updates for the closing ceremony tomorrow!
The NHD closing ceremony starts at 8:30 am, the parade of State Delegations occurs before that, so if you wish to participate plan to arrive by 7:45-8 am at the latest. We enter through gate C. We are seated in section 123, rows 16-19.
I will have certificates for all participants to give out after the ceremony is over, for those who cannot make it, I will be happy to mail it to you, as long as you send me your address of course!
For those who will be at the Parade of States I will need two people to carry the Liberty Bell Flag, and three to carry the Pennsylvania state flag. I also have plenty of individual Betsy Ross flags to hand out. I also will have a Ben Franklin pillow, a Punxsutawney Phil cutout, and some inflatable Heinz ketchup bottles and pretzels to carry! Finally, I have two coal miner's helmets and two railroad conductor's hats.
if possible, please wear your yellow State Winners shirt, I will be wearing mine!
The closing ceremony is scheduled to end by noon but should end a bit earlier than that, based on last year's ceremony.
Make sure you have removed your exhibit by 9 pm tonight or it will get thrown out!
We cannot wait to see you all at the Xfinity Center, and let's hope for good news for the awards!!
