Howard Gardner Multiple Intelligence "MI" Charter School Howard Gardner MI Charter School, serving grades K-8, is Scranton's only tuition-free public charter.

The Howard Gardner Multiple Intelligence (MI) School is a tuition-free public charter school located on 9 acres in the scenic setting of the East Mountain section of Scranton, PA. As a school of choice, 300+ students are enrolled in elementary and middle school grades (K-8). The school embraces the educational philosophy of Scranton native Dr. Howard Gardner, Professor Emeritus, Harvard University

Graduate School of Education. Multi-age classrooms are small and ungraded to enable children to begin the study of a subject where they are intellectually challenged and progress as deeply as they can.
