✨New Member Spotlight✨

Coffee entrepreneur Beth Wagner turned a garage roaster into a thriving coffee business, creating unique blends inspired by Arizona’s communities and landscapes. From operating a roastery in Pinetop to opening Sedona Red Rock Coffee, Beth’s passion has always centered on community, connection, comfort, and great coffee. She is now preparing to open her newest venture, Café Colibri, in south Scottsdale with her niece.

Prior to Beth’s coffee business, she worked ten years with the Maricopa County Courts System and six years with at the Social Security Administration.

Beth is a native of Scottsdale. She loves daily walks with her dog Nami, is active in a women’s bowling league and enjoys cheering for local sports teams – the Cardinals, Suns and Mercury.

✨New Member Spotlight✨

Jackie Benton is a co-owner of Top Search Recruiting (TSR), a woman-owned recruiting firm that helps organizations identify and attract exceptional candidates.

Jackie began her career as a software engineer. She stepped away from the workforce for approximately seven years to focus on raising her children. When she returned to work, she transitioned into recruiting. Community service has also been an important part of Jackie’s life. For eight years, she participated in National Charity League alongside her daughters.

Outside of work, Jackie enjoys tennis, pickleball, golf, reading, working on puzzles and painting. Most of all, she values spending time with family and friends.

Sue Rigler is the founder and sole owner of Hundred Mile Brewing Company in Tempe, a woman-owned brewery—a distinction shared by only approximately 2.5% of breweries in the United States.

Originally from Iowa, Sue graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in microbiology. Under Sue’s leadership, Hundred Mile has received numerous awards and Sue was honored as the Tempe Chamber’s 2025 Business Woman of the Year.

Sue serves on the Executive Board of Tempe Tourism and as Co-Chair of Tempe Talks. She is deeply committed to supporting local businesses, nonprofit organizations, women’s leadership, Arizona State University, and community health and wellness.

A mother of four, Sue is also a lifelong runner and triathlete. She brings determination, creativity, and resilience to everything she does.

Jenni Abbott-Bayardi is the Senior Area Business Manager for Cantabria Labs. With more than 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry, she enjoys collaborating with healthcare professionals and participating in national dermatology conferences.

Prior to transitioning into pharmaceuticals, Jenni spent seven years as a junior high social studies teacher, a role she cherished. Jenni has a lifelong passion for public education and is serving in her second term as an elected official on the Washington Elementary School District Governing Board.

Jenni was born and raised in Arizona. She and her wife recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. They are proud parents of three adult children. In her free time, Jenni enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, hosting gatherings, and taking care of her parents.

Mandy Carrico serves as Library Director for the City of Tolleson, where she leads with the belief that strong communities are built through equitable access to knowledge, opportunity, and connection.

Mandy advanced through every level of public library work—from shelving books and serving as a children’s librarian to leading library branches and overseeing system-wide operations. Prior to joining Tolleson in 2023, she held leadership positions with the Scottsdale Public Library and Harris County Public Library. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Houston and a master’s degree in Library Science from the University of North Texas.

Outside of work, Mandy enjoys spending time with her husband and their energetic 80-pound German Shepherd–Pointer mix, cheering on their three adult children, and exploring Arizona’s hiking trails. She also loves traveling, experimenting with new recipes, and writing and publishing novels under a pen name.
