Standard Operating Procedure. A detailed STEP BY STEP set of directions and expectations for each and every part of your business. For me…there are A LOT.
Just to name a few:

➡️ Booking Process
➡️ Teepee Sleepover Set Up
➡️ Teepee Sleepover Pick Up
➡️ Picnic Set up (both kid and adult because I have two different types of tables)
➡️ Picnic Pick Up
➡️ Slumber Spa Set Up
➡️ Each Workshop activity has its own

The list goes on.

These are fully available for staff to view at anytime in our warehouse and on the app we use.

This makes it easy for someone to take control if ever there was an emergency with me. If they forgot how to do certain things while on the job. And for when the time does come to sell…it makes the biz worth more because there are literally step by step instructions for every part of the business.

I have spend months creating step by step instructions for every aspect of my business….and it’s amazing!

Never in a million years did I ever think I’d have a successful business. I’ve owned multiple. Just because I dropped in revenue doesn’t mean it’s not successful….que a ton of other businesses that have seen the same pattern since the pandemic. What it means is that you have to restructure, because what was working for me back then is not working for me now.

And let’s be honest, I’m not getting any younger. Bending over and lifting heavy things every single weekend just doesn’t need to be happening.

So, knowing my revenue is less than it was a few years ago, but still enough to keep going…how do I restructure this beast to work for me? So I can enjoy my kids football games, trust my team and live life vs always working in it. After all I quite teaching 14 years ago to have more freedom 😜

I didn’t realize how important systems were until the past couple of years. And I’m not just talking simple check-sheets to keep your brain in check when packing a party. I’m talking literally writing out a plan for EVERY aspect of my business and having it on paper with a process.

Event industry pros have SO many what it ifs?

If something happened to the boss behind it all, would you have to cancel (and ruin a clients day) or could you make a quick phone call and someone else would know exactly what to do?

If you were to sell your business, would you be handing over a boat load of inventory, some clients, and saying “good luck” 🤞🏻 or are you handing over a well oiled machine that could basically run on its own? (Guess which one is worth more $$ to a buyer?!?)

If you hire a new employee do you find your self spending hours with them in training…on site, in an office or can you set them up for success by developing an onboarding process and re-using it over and over?

If your business is growing and you are getting more clients does it feel overwhelming or do you feel like everyone can handle their job!?

If you handed an employee the keys to your warehouse could they do everything without contacting you, or are they texting you wondering where things get placed?

Imagine a business where you can feel successful, leave for a weekend with your family, and still make magic happen for your clients. We are about to bring our 7 day road trip to an end going from AZ to NM to CO and back down. We had parties go out this weekend and my crew was great! One party added two people, then only 6 showed up, one party added an additional 6 guests when the theme maxed out at 8, and the other added a cozy spot for one guest who wasn’t spending the night but attending the party.

All those extra invoices and stuff I can take care of from my phone. But the pulling inventory and such comes from a crew that I can trust. I had no calls this weekend from crew or from a client. 💪🏻 All parties got delivered and went smoothly!

Can your business run without you? If you have to do it all and can’t enjoy life and make money at the same time…..that’s not a business, it’s a job. Let me help you get to that point.
