School is back in session and so are we! I hope everyone had nice, relaxing summer.

The new schedule for the 2025-2026 school year will begin on August 19th. We are located at Scottsburg United Methodist Church. Please note that we follow the SCSD2 school schedule for breaks and any cancellations due to inclement weather.

Tuesday-Math Groups
3:30-4:30pm Grades K, 1 and 2
5:00-6:00pm Grades 3, 4 and 5

Wednesday-individual tutoring times available from 3:30-6:30pm

Thursday-Reading Groups
3:30-4:30pm Grades K, 1, and 2
5:00-6:00pm Grades 3, 4 and 5

Snacks are provided.

Tracy’s Makerspace fall schedule is up and ready! Please visit tracylucasmiller.com and click on the Makerspace tab and reserve your spot in art class! Please note that the class is in the basement of church.

Summer Reading and Math Groups will begin next week! The groups will work on skills to boost learning and help prevent summer learning loss.

Every Tuesday and Thursday from June 10th to June 26th.

10:00am-11:00am
For kids going into kindergarten, first and second grade

11:00am-12:00pm
For kids going into
third, fourth and fifth grade

Attention all students going into 2nd or 3rd grade! Tammy Staser is conducting a Mad Science Workshop starting next week. Please refer to the flyer for dates and times. A minimum of 5 students per grade level is preferred to proceed and a maximum of 10 spots are available per grade level. This is a great oppotunity for some science fun!

The month of May is going quickly so I wanted to share some information about upcoming events and summer plans.

We are having a pizza party and animal show on Wednesday, May 14th at 4:30pm. The Wednesday reading group WILL meet that day at 3:30pm as scheduled. The 5:00pm group will not meet due to the party. Any student who attended groups/tutoring is invited to attend. Please message me and let me know if you plan to attend.

The last day for groups and tutoring for the school year is May 15th. There will be summer programs so stay tuned for more details.

Attention parents of 2nd and 3rd graders...

The IREAD 3 Spring Assessment will begin on March 3, 2025.

If you would be interested in having your child participate in a group for IREAD practice, please let me know. There is enough time to have at least a couple of sessions before the testing begins. The sessions would be one hour in length.

Happy 2025!

We will be back on our regular schedule this week starting tomorrow, January 13th. We look forward to seeing everyone!

Math and reading groups and one-on-one tutoring sessions are available. Please email or call for more information. This is a great opportunity for your child if they are needing extra help.

Tracy's Makerspace is all ready to go in our new location and we are excited! Keep watching for information about the next art class that will be happening soon.

Just a reminder about inclement weather. If SCSD2 is on a delay, we will be open for sessions. When SCSD2 is closed for inclement weather, we will not be open.

I have a couple of reminders to share.

First, we will be at our new location for the upcoming week. We are now located at 615 S Honeyrun Pkwy inside the United Methodist Church.

Second, if there is a delay for inclement weather, we will be open. If school is canceled, then we will not be open. This will be based on the decision made for SCSD2 since we are located in Scottsburg.

We are moving our location to 615 S Honeyrun Pkwy, Scottsburg. Inspire will be located inside the United Methodist Church beginning December 9th. The remainder of this week will be at the location on the square.

Just a few reminders…

Hours of operation and group times/scheduled tutoring will remain the same.

Tracy’s Makerspace is continuing to partner with Inspire. Please note that the art class scheduled for December 12th WILL BE at the location on the square at 82 E McClain and classes thereafter will be at the new location.
