Jesus did a number of things to validate to His disciples, and to the reader, that it was indeed He, that He had risen from the dead. The terminology He used, the miraculous catching of the fish, the fact that He already had fish and bread - all flashbacks from past miracles that He performed. Moreover, this was yet a third time that He appeared to them. With the mounting evidence, no one can correctly claim that Jesus had not risen. Jesus has risen from the dead. He is alive!

ALL of the disciples, men and women, were at a loss, in pain, mourning, and now felt they were dealt yet another blow. Their leader, teacher, the one who they knew to be the God-man, Messiah, died. Now it appeared that His body had been robbed from the tomb. Thinking that His dead was final, now they couldn’t even mourn Him or honor Him at His grave.

The death of Jesus was not final. It was only the beginning. A new beginning for humanity for all those who will believe in Him, and it started here in John 20:11-18.

Moreover, Jesus first revealed Himself as risen from the dead to a person who many might see as the lowliest of all and undesirable. A former pr******te, now turned to a faithful follower. But she was truly transformed by God's grace when she put her faith in Jesus Christ. And Jesus pronounced to her first, and asked her to be the messenger to His other followers.

With Jesus being risen from the dead, we also can receive new life, eternal life thought Him alone. For believers God’s grace is so transformative, that who we were is no long who we are. This was true for Mary, and it can become true for anyone who decides to put their faith in Jesus.

SCHROON LAKE, NY – Recently members of Word of Life Church in Chadwicks, New York were indicted on manslaughter charges.

To help avoid confusion, we wish to clarify that Word of Life Fellowship in Schroon Lake, New York does not have any affiliation with this church.

Furthermore, Word of Life Fellowship does not agree with the actions taken by the members of the church in Chadwicks, New York. The incident that took place at this church is saddening and is not consistent with Biblical teaching. Word of Life Fellowship maintains and adheres to a child protection policy in all of its ministries.

Word of Life Fellowship is a ministry focused on reaching and meeting the spiritual needs of today’s youth through Christian camping, Bible Institutes, Bible clubs and international ministries.

2 CHRONICLES 36:11-21

The end. Or not so much, but it was the end of rebellion. This one last king rebelled against God. He gave them every chance possible to repent and turn to Him, but they refused to listen. All of the leadership committed and permitted sin. They went with what was vogue in the culture. They celebrated immorality. God kept warning them over and over again because He is merciful. But they would not listen. So God kept His promise as He always does. Enough was enough, and He let the Babylonians conquer the land and tear down all the glorious things that Solomon had built in a time when the nation pleased God. All the glory of the nation, all the things that made them appear great in the eyes of others. Gone. They were once the superpower of the region, and they had peace. Now they were so torn down, that you couldn't even tell they were much of anything at all. Yet God also kept His promise to preserve a remnant, and to one day bring them back to the land after 70 years. He kept His promise to bring the Messiah through them. He kept His promise that all nations would be blessed; that is through Jesus Christ. And He will keep His promise that the offspring of Israel will possess the land. He will keep His promises to us regarding His coming again.

Even so come, Lord Jesus!

One generation. That's all it takes for a nation, a family, and group to turn to good or bad. One generation and the purpose in their heart. One can be different than his parents, for good or for bad. It's a choice. One person's choice can influence many. In Reheboam's case, his heart was not set on God. All the glory and splendor and riches and greatness that God lavished on Solomon disappeared in a very short time all because of one heart not set on God.
