The Center for Economic Growth has created a What's So Cool About Manufacturing initiative. Mont Pleasant Students were chosen to visit, film and interview staff and facilities at Greno Industries in Scotia. Students and I worked on editing a video featuring the company and their employees. NY Gear Up is partnering with CUNY's Creative Arts Team (City University of New York) to offer a virtual workshop for our 8th grade parents to help support their students' transition to high school. This interactive experience will provide parents with tools and resources as well as allow parents to network, collaborate and meet with one another and members of the High School Freshman Administration Team.
