If you are the parent/caregiver of an 8th grade student, you don’t want to miss this! Following our meeting on Tuesday February 5th (6:30pm in the PG library), the PTA will be hosting an 8th Grade Parent Session on College Planning. Dr. Gilfillan, associate professor of school counseling at NEIU, will be discussing such topics as building a strong academic foundation, exploring extracurricular activities, key milestones & timelines… and more!

The PTA is organizing a district-wide food drive scheduled to run from December 1st through December 12th.

Each school will be collecting specific categories of food items. Plum Grove has been assigned canned and jarred goods. Items such as soups, vegetables, fruit, beans, and sauces are examples.

We will then coordinate the distribution of all the donations across the entire district for sharing. Thank you for your generosity❤️

Volunteers Needed: Winter Party Planning Committee

We are beginning to plan our school Winter dance/party, tentatively scheduled for Friday, February 27th. We anticipate holding 3-4 virtual meetings to organize activities, decorations, and food.
