This Harper College Club is a welcoming non-religious group that focuses on Buddhist ideology and practice. At the core of what we are about are the principals of radical inclusiveness of all people, mindfulness, loving kindness, and peace.

We are going to sit outside today; we will meet in our normal room and then sit between the north lakes together. Come join us! Don't forget!!!! we are having a meeting Tues afternoon at 11:30am in F-127. Harold Rail from Kwan Um School of Zen (http://www.kwanumzen.org/) and Dharma Flower Zen will give a dharma talk and meditation.
As promised at today's meeting, here is the link to the Emptiness speech by Ajahn Brahm. I don't want to further press the issue, but I must re-submit a suggestion concerning the speech. Please keep an open minded when listening to this speech. Emptiness is a deep, beautiful, and challenging principal in Buddhism. Listen to the speech if you wish and allow it to inspire, or free, you to develop your practice in your own way; dont let anyone's truth push you off the pillow/zafu.
