HYROX NYC 2026 ✔️
Going into this race, I didn’t follow a dedicated HYROX training program. My preparation was pretty simple: regular strength training, a few HYROX classes, and making sure I included interval runs to build my endurance.
A month before race day, I joined so I could get access to some of the HYROX-specific equipment. While I wasn’t able to get there as often as I would have liked, having the opportunity to practice some of the movements definitely helped build my confidence.
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous leading up to the event. More than anything, I didn’t want to get hurt and end up out of commission afterward. My goal was not only to finish the race but to do it smart, listen to my body, and stay healthy. Thankfully, I succeeded in doing just that…though those wall balls nearly killed me!
This event reminded me that you don’t need perfect preparation to take on a big challenge. Consistency, a solid fitness foundation, and a willingness to show up can take you farther than you think.
Proud of the effort, grateful for the experience, and already thinking about what’s next. 💪🏃♀️
